Our Property
Located near Milepost 50 on the Sterling Highway, the Homes at Kenai Riverside Lodge are an easy two-hour drive from Anchorage or one-hour drive from Seward. The Seward Highway is one of the most beautiful drives in the United States, unspoiled by billboards and boasting plenty of pull-outs and gorgeous views along the way. Mountain passes, Turnagain Arm, and evidence of the 1964 earthquake near Portage are all popular places to stop, take in the vistas, and snap some photos on the journey from Anchorage.
The Homes at Kenai Riverside Lodge are just steps from the banks of the Kenai River and are part of a 10-acre natural wooded property owned by Alaska Wildland Adventures. Groomed nature trails are dotted around the property for self-guided walks, and our property is located near several hiking trails in Chugach State Park, Chugach National Forest and Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. Just up river, you’ll find stunning Kenai Lake, which is the headwaters of the entire Kenai River.
Upon your reservation with us, our team will send you a pre-arrival email confirmation with more specific driving and parking directions to your vacation home rental. We provide the above map for helpful reference of Cooper Landing’s ideal central location in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula – the perfect starting point for day trip adventures to Seward, Homer and beyond!
